Our Story

Sweden Insurance Hub began in 2018 when our founder, Lars Peterson, experienced firsthand the challenges of finding appropriate insurance coverage after moving back to Sweden following years abroad. Despite his Swedish background, he found the insurance landscape had changed significantly and was difficult to navigate.

After consulting with insurance professionals and legal experts, Lars realized there was a need for clear, accessible information about Swedish insurance options—not just for immigrants but for all residents. He assembled a team of insurance specialists with diverse backgrounds to create a comprehensive resource dedicated to making insurance understandable and accessible.
